METALLICA's 'Monster' Among BLENDER Magazine's 'Greatest Rock And Roll Movies'
October 12, 2005The Associated Press is reporting that METALLICA's "Some Kind of Monster" documentary came in third place on Blender magazine's list of "The 100 Greatest Rock and Roll Movies of All Time." "This Is Spinal Tap", which Blender calls the "Rosetta Stone of all film satire," tops the list, which also includes "Saturday Night Fever" (No. 2),"Grease" (No. 19),"Purple Rain" (No. 4) and "Almost Famous" (No. 5). Some honorable mentions include EMINEM's "8 Mile" at No. 14 and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" at 30. Tom Hanks's "That Thing You Do" brings up the rear at No. 100.
